Summer of 2022
OZAS is currently working on our first album together with our music producer Andreas Mjøs and musicians Terje Johannesen and Torben Snekkestad. Because of Covid-19 the release of this album have unfortunately been delayed. But we are aiming for release in fall 2022!
On the album you can hear, among other amazing songs, a new version of the NRK Urbi hit - Gula, oappážan.
OZAS participating in SXSW 2021!
Saturday, on March 20 at 18:00 (6.00 pm), OZAS played at SXSW 2021 digital event alongside with Tromsø based artists Heave Blood & Die, I SEE RIVERS and Oter played . This beautiful concert was put together by

Etniid Ulloliinnit - a OZAS concert performance
OZAS premiered with their concert performance Etniid Ulloliinnit (The woollen shawls of the Sámi mothers) on the national stage, Riksscenen, in Oslo the 2th of October 2020.
The traditional Sámi woollen shawl is worn by all women in Sápmi and is an important object for identity and belonging.
Years of assimilation policy and colonization of Sápmi has caused trauma and opened wounds within the Sámi community. Can the woollen shawl symbolize an opposite to taboo societal challenges?

Ozas at NRK Urbi, Riddu Riddu festival 2019
Summer 2019 at Riddu Riđđu festival in Manndalen the OZAS-sisters recorded their new song "Gula, oappážan" in NRK Urbi´s igloo made of glass. This became a hit in Sápmi with 69,6 k views and 634 shares on Facebook. Listen to the song here:
